Full Pest Protection Using the dual action of Fipronil and (S)-methoprene IGR (insect growth regulator), Spectra Sure will effectively break the flea life cycle. This formula will kill adult fleas, flea eggs, flea larvae and prevent the development of pupae for up to three months. Not only effective against fleas, Spectra Sure also controls mites, ticks and chewing lice. The importance of controlling pests goes beyond relieving a nuisance, it may also help to prevent infections. Mites may cause sarcoptic mange, while ticks have been linked to the transmission of Lyme disease. Fleas may also be a source of flea allergy dermatitis.
